Won't switch on

Is the child lock activated?

If your appliance will not function it may be due to the child lock being active. Some Baumatic appliances are equipped with a child safety lock and when this lock is set the appliance will not function. If your machine has this feature please de activate it. Oven is set on 'auto' function

If your oven shows the word 'auto' or the letter 'A' then it is in the automatic mode and will not start, and the internal light will not come on. It will need to be set into the manual operation mode.

Look for the button with a hand symbol, press and release this and then use the '+' or '-' keys to adjust the time of day. Once you have set the clock to display the time of day release the buttons and the display should show the cook pot symbol. The oven is now ready to start cooking.
