Getting hot and scortching the units

Built under ovens are designed to be installed under a work top (as shown) and not into a tall housing unit. There must be sufficient gap around the product to ventilate the product and keep the outside cool when the oven is on. If you are having problems with the outside of the oven getting too hot please check that you have installed it paying attention to the dimensions shown here.

Your oven needs to be fitted in accordance with the installation instructions found in the user guide. It is important that these instructions are followed to ensure that the oven has adequate ventilation to keep the outside cool during use. In particular a gap is needed in the base. Please check the installation meets the requirements as shown.

The oven has been designed to fit into a tall housing unit and there must be adequate ventilation to ensure that the outside can remain cool when the oven is in use. It is important that there is a cut out in the support shelf and air ways as shown:

Compact ovens can be built in or built under the worktop. It is important that there are ventilation cut outs in the housing as shown to prevent the machine overheating during use.
