The safety cut out has operated

Your Baumatic dryer is fitted with a safety cut out, to switch the machine off if its overheated. The cut out can be re set by the user. It's found at the rear of the machine, so  you will need to remove the dryer out of the kitchen unit to find the reset button. You are looking for a red button at the back, simply press the button and it will click when it has re set.

To prevent your dryer from overheating check that the filter in the door has been cleaned and that there is not a blockage in the vent hose. Also check the outside vent is not blocked, go outside of the property to find the vent cover and clean out any fluff, leaves or debris. If there is a lack of ventilation at the front then the dryer will trip out. There is a white grid on the bottom at the front which needs to be exposed to the ambient air.
