Not all pans are suitable to use on an induction hob, those on the left of the picture on the 'yes' side are suitable.
The pans must be 'Ferro - Magnetic' to work on your hob the best way is to test it with a fridge magnet - if it sticks to the base of the pan then it will work with induction!
