Black spots on cutlery

If you have a mixture of stainless steel and silver cutlery make sure that you load them apart from each other in your Baumatic dishwasher. Place steel in one side of the cutlery on one side of the basket and silver on the other. If they touch in the dishwasher they can make little black spots appear on the surface of the cutlery

Some food contains acids which may stain your cutlery when washed in your dishwasher. Give them a rinse under the tap before loading to prevent this from occurring.

Sometimes condensation can stain cutlery and leave black marks on at the end of the cycle. This can be prevented by removing cutlery as soon as the cycle ends
